First, I want to say that this internship with Shannon Ethridge and involvement with the BLAST program www.shannonethridge.com/blast has already been a life changing experience for me. I truly believe that this is a Godsend and He has had His hands in this process from day one. I had no idea that God was going to lead me to this place and put me in the hands of a great writer and speaker to teach me the things I need to know for my own vital birthing ministry. From the moment I heard the Lord say “this is the way walk ye in it,” I knew this was where I was supposed to be. I know God sent me here by His hand and that is why I am here to absorb and learn.
I feel that this internship will provide me with the tools and skills I need both spiritually and professionally, to be productive and prosper in the ministry God has called me to. This is a training ground for battle to win souls for God. The principles I learn here I want to pass on to others who need and are hungry for spiritual guidance. I also want to learn how not to compare myself to others but to look at myself through God’s eyes. I want to keep a good perspective and remember that everyone has their own gifts and the ability to bring something different and unique to the table. I believe this internship will help me master myself and my emotions so I will be completely stable and led by God’s voice.
My main goal is to be a spiritual mother to many women. I want to learn everything I need to know about women’s ministries so I can help women that are struggling with the same things I struggle with such as self-acceptance, eating disorders, drug addition, abuse, self-doubt and fear of the unknown. I know this internship is where I need to be to obtain this knowledge and experience.
I hope to write my book while I am serving in this internship and to learn how to market myself. I have a desire to become a better writer and to become more polished in my speaking. I am going to take it to the limit, over the top, in a spirit of excellence. I am all out for Jesus, my Redeemer and friend. I am on a mission to learn more about God. He has given me more grace than I deserve. Because of his grace and mercy, I am blessed to be in this internship today.
My goal at the present time is to be loyal and faithful, to be the armor bearer and friend that God has laid on my heart to be. I am to carry out the vision of this ministry. If you are faithful with another man’s vision, then God will give you your own. I hope to make great friends and contacts that will last a lifetime. This too shall pass one day, and when it does I hope to look back and remember some of the greatest times of my life.
